This was obviously very influential to my modeling career. I always knew I wanted to do something in the beauty/fashion industry, I just never knew exactly what. (I’m still not totally sure haha). I was originally on the other side of things. In high school I started working for a hair salon that allowed me to manage, coordinate, and occasionally do hair and makeup for local fashion shows/events. While it felt stressful at 16, I am so thankful for that job because having an understanding of the full picture makes working on set so much more fulfilling & really gives me a better appreciation for the final product.
My next step was New York. I knew at this point I definitely wanted to model professionally, so after one visit to NYC I was signing a lease with two friends I knew from back home. Before I even moved, I was applying for modeling agencies, until I connected with my Mother Agent, Bicoastal. Shortly after, they helped me sign with a second agency, Natural, in Los Angeles. Keep in mind, I had never been to LA at this point either. Fast forward to now - I am still signed with both of them & constantly traveling for modeling jobs. Life is good.
Home base for me now is Florida with my man & our perfect dog. Let’s be real, we’re totally in Florida for the weather. Having a comfortable, relaxing place to call home has been such a privilege. As much as I love traveling and being on the go, it is so important to have a place to reset and rest. This has allowed me to have more creative freedom and dive into the world of content creating, which has seriously been the best of both worlds - doing what I love from wherever I want - I don’t know how it could get better.
I feel so lucky. I can’t express enough how thankful I am for the opportunities that modeling has allowed me - I look forward to many more. I look forward to using my platform to encourage kindness. I look forward to exploring the world. I look forward to beautiful campaigns. I look forward to creative projects. I look forward to sharing it all with you. Thank you for coming along!
